I'm in it!
Not really. I was a student at Sheffield Poly when they wee making it and the word came down to the students Union at the Poly and the Uni that they wanted extras for the scenes with protesters and were asking for volunteers. It sounded a bit of a giggle so went along. As for being effected, not really. I'd already seen The War Game and that is much starker than Threads and not as 'dramatised' and is much scarier as a result - which is why despite having made it themselves in 1965 the Beeb refused to show it for about 20 years or so - if I remember rightly Threads was broadcast before The War Game ever was.
I don't think i'd want to survive it.That doomsday clock is creeping closer towards midnight, hopefully it takes another 100 years or so to get there.
