Marry Blair Appreciation Society

Don't think I have seen it posted anywhere else, apologies if I have missed it.

Does anyone know what the screaming was all about in the East Stand every time Matty Blair touched the ball in the second half.  I thought Louis Tomlinson had been included in the squad for a second

I'm looking at stopping overnight in Warwick next Sunday. We will be on the way back from a wedding in Bristol and I want to watch our match.
Can you recommend a decent reasonably priced hotel near centre and do you think pubs will have Rovers game on?
Thanks Dave
Regarding Blair, wasn't there a bunch of students there?

I think it was from a party of about 50 that arrived just after kick off. Walking in with them, some sounded American, some sounded a bit French.

It sounded from the West stand like a squealing pig.

They will be there on Tuesday night too.

From what I have picked up on twitter they are a group of Americans that play soccer which seems very similar to our football just spelt wrong. Hopefully this could be an extension to the drfc USA branch.

Maybe a tour out there after Thailand

What connection do they have with Matty? It only seemed to be when he had the ball that they made all the noise. Think he went over to them at the final whistle.

It depends how close to the town centre you want to be.  There are a couple of hotels just off of the M40 as you head into Warwick, Holiday Inn Express and the Hilton.  There is also a Premier Inn just off the A46 at Warwick.  All are within 5 minute drive of Warwick centre.  Not sure if any pubs will have the game on.  I guess it all depends what other games are on tv that day and how busy the pubs are to be honest.

The hotels in the centre are more smaller B&B types.  The main issue with the centre of Warwick is parking

Warwick Arms is good place, bang in the centre and close to all attractions. I recommend it highly as had my wedding reception there (other half is from Wawick). Some guests stayed at the lord leycester which was close but slightly cheaper and said it was ok. Both hotels had parking.
