Kids who Rovers should be looking at ....

Here's one. 7-year-old Elliot Ransome, who plays for Bessacarr.

A Bullet discovery - Remember where you heard it.

That's the problem with football today due the amount of money that's involved and we all accept it as paying fans.

If Elliot is a diamond at such a young age on the football pitch.it will not be long and I mean maybe one more bin fire night ,before a club clocks him and puts a contract on the table for Elliot.

His parents will obviously sign it for him ,then he will have to play football the way his new club deems.

No more kicking them ball about with his mates and he will loose all the part of fun and fcuking about with football that comes at that age.

Look at how clueless and out of contact that most youth team players show at premeirship clubs today,as they think they have made it all ready due size of their wallets.

I was asking that BB and I thought maybe you have just fell in after a full day Sunday session in the drum .

So I just obliged in best way I could .

I stared a thread today about the F1 race today in the main forum .

Went back in a hour or so to add to it and it had vanished ,looked in off topic section and it was not here either.

Started to question myself if I did start such a thread or press post button.

Then for some reason I dropped into, transfer room section and fcuk me it was in there with some replys.

Strange very strange indeed

Well, if a post about Rovers on a Rovers forum is off topic, it is indeed very strange. Very strange indeed.

Checked the moderation log and there's nothing in there to suggest it was moved by a mod.

......Well, I had had a few last night, I must admit, so maybe I did put it in the off-topic section by mistake! If that was the case I apologise.

Right about the session, but wrong venue. The Drum was demolished a few years ago.

Recall playing football against the drum for the paddock pub about 30 years ago.

It was an away game for us and the pitch seemed to have been surrounded by huge garden fencers  and I was a pitch on its own.

Drum 0 paddock 2 > I made one after a blinding bit of chasing down getting ball from a great scoop back tackle laid ball onto ant marsh as rest of field were just turning back ,and ant marsh curled one into top
Left hand corner 0-1

2nd goal > my goal we was attacking from a free kick and I was just milling about just inside the penalty area and the ball just bounced down infront of me .

I shit me seen tbh and just ray wilkins type of style vs Belgium just lofted the ball towrads the goal and it just went in via far too left hand corner.
