North branch meeting
« on July 20, 2017, 10:18:30 pm by the vicar »
DF said he blames him self for the end of season lack of form by demanding to the players that they have got to go and win the league after the Colchester game.  Andy Butler said the players are much fitter than last season, Gavin Baldwin said we have sold almost 5000 season tickets so far and have budgeted for 7200 average crowd nest season

Thanks for the feedback. That target for attendances sounds reasonable should we show some half decent form.

Very open with their answers as far as they could say,Fergie seemed pleased with the players so far,Alcock back in training, others more long term.
He has re-jigged the youth academy and expects a better return in time, and we now have more scouts looking, and bringing younger players to the club.
We will play the loan system if needed but he would rather have permanent players if possible.
The commercial side of the club is doing very well, with the aim of the club as a whole to be self sustaining.
I enjoyed the night which was well attended, with everyone having the chance to ask anything they wanted,a well done to the North Branch.

Fergie also said that  the development/second team had entered a league and were waiting for the match details that will be published with games open to the public.
We will also have games behind closed doors if the management want to trial players or for other reasons.
One warning, do not hold out much hope for a win against the Wednesday, the jinx that is his father is coming to watch the game.

What was our  home gate before we got relegated.

Our average in the L1 relegation season was 6490 .
Our average in the L2 promotion season was 6021.

We did have more local derby's in L1 , Sheff Utd, Bradford , Barnsley, Scunthorpe and Chesterfield.
