Everton - who is laughing now ?

Just had to look back and find this ....

So far Gazlaz's views are right on track - and we may need a Recipe to make an Everton scarf "edible"

Didn't realise the season finished 2 and a half months after it started.

Nothings decided and they may finish in the top half, my point has been highlighted though. The players they signed were not world beaters and their two best players, Lukaku and Barklay had either been sold or ostracised.

According to some (including Bookies) it is :

.... and as you say it aint over till its over. This was one of my favourites from the "Leicester" Season where it was asked whether Man City would stay top of the League all Season. Look at Reply #3 though - inspired

Ha, you beat me to it wolfie, i was thinking about Gaz's comment a couple of days ago but couldn't post about it.
I think they should have enough to avoid the drop but they may have a chance with a different manager as players do tend to lift their performance levels when that happens.

Just a shame he cashed out really, though it was right for him so I can't argue.

It is a fair point - although getting rid of Koeman now leaves them free of that shackle.

I've already jokingly said I'm after some sauce to eat the scarf. But Koeman is gone now and there are still 29 games left for Everton to reach a level they're capable of much higher in the table.

i hope the next  prediction made by that same poster IS YOUR FAVOURITE !!

effectively "that Rovers were already promoted on October 15th 2016 -- they never dropped out of the first three from then on despite being one match behind (Stevenage from memory moved to later) when a game was called off

http://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=258950.msg659714#msg659714

note I was emphatic they would stay in the top 3

has anyone realised the man city thread might yet be simply a year too early ????

a couple of years ago in my alternative world I always had   koelman down for the Arsenal job
