When Ferguson came in I think he was a bit shocked as to the state of the club behind the scenes & said publicly a lot needed to change, that was like a breath of fresh air to me, gave the impression he knew what he was doing & what he wanted to achieve. Since then we have suffered a relegation, which I thought ok, even though it was totally avoidable we take the hit & let him carry on the build & the 5 year plan, league 2 we cantered through to promotion then inexplicably lost the title, then this season he signed players he thought would improve us, Kiwomya obviously we don't know,  Danny Andrew a massive loss due to injury & Baudry another big loss, for those reasons I think he still has the ability to take us forward & hopefully will,  but, Saturday was a massive negative for me & the first signs that he is struggling, I really hope not & even though our budget must be competative, the inability to move on players permanently, Evina, Lund, Middleton, injury to a reserve keeper, are costing us more than we know in my opinion, i am still behind him, but Saturday was nowhere near good enough, whatever team you put out.

Ok, it also took long enough to move players on permanently like Middleton.

Marquis has been poor mainly this season but heat still on course to be our highest ever goalscorer at this level

Williams has been worse and he's not scoring either, and people say he should walk back into the side! Why?

You have to be in the team to score

He has been
He didn't do it in league 2 never mind league 1

Williams goals in relation to starts was very similar to that of Marquis.

There's a reason he didn't start many games

Don't know why people are constantly trying to rubbish marquis. Is it cause ferguson signed him.

He scored a load of goals last season and he's been poor this year yet is still our leading scorer and on course for getting 15-20 goals

Just don't get it

why are you always trying to bring things back to Ferguson? I'm not even part of the Fergie out brigade but it's getting very tedious now.

Just looking for reasons why our fans would be questioning our striker who has scored more goals than anyone previously for at least ten years.

There must be a reason

I'm guessing because he turned down a new contract because he felt he was worthy of a better one which he got. Since then he hasn't performed to a standard anywhere near what we feel he is capable of. His all round play has been awful and his attitude seems worse. Nothing to do with the manager.

I don't think he's been the same since he won League Two Player of the Year.

The club must have felt he was worthy of a better contract too.

I'm sure they did and im sure most of us would have agreed, but since then he's been nowhere near the required standard.
