...... 30 years on plus 1 day ,we got beat 4-0 at home in front of a crowd of 1387 ,it was a  Tuesday ( I remember because I started a new job that day ) . David Kelly scored a hat trick,the opponents were Walsall . They got promoted that season..............

Without wishing to be a Jeremiah we got relegated that season and didn't get back to Tier 3 until 2004.

By the way, 10 years and three weeks ago, we lost 2-3 at home to Walsall in an utterly witless display.

Must be summat about us, Walsall and October.

Maybe the food was of similar standard but the big difference was (maybe) you could queue up for your food & drink before during and after Half Time in full view of the "action" and so not miss a kick  .... although during a 4-0 drubbing that might not have been as much of a "benefit" as it usually was !
