Demonstrated today exactly why we were all so desperate to have him back in the summer. Always in the right place off the ball and composed and assured on it. His best performance of the season so far for me.

He was very good in difficult conditions.

He played a nice few defense spitting passes today and is now up to speed after his long lay off .He has the strength and touch to develop into the best we have ever had on loan .
        We rarely used the space high up on the right and it looked as if Kongolo did not want to commit to running at the full back today though Houghton was clearly seeking that  as one outlet for his passes.

Glad to hear he's getting up to speed. He's a quality player and we need to hang onto him in January.

Not so sure about the other loanees although Toffolo seems to be improving while Whiteman does at least have a goal in him.

Agree TRB. Houghton is essential; can't overstate his importance to the team. As long as he's involved we stand a good chance of getting up the table.
