I noticed Maxted got a start yesterday for top of the league Accrington. Not sure he had much to do, but good to see him doing well, hopefully not hauntingly so over two games next season.

It was his first EFL appearance after many times on the bench at Rovers, Hartlepool and Accrington.

I've often wondered if he's related to Paul Maxted, who played in goal for that really good Frickley side of the 1980s.
