I tried to add a Poll so we could vote for 7 days to see if we could collectively come up with the right 4

Unfortunately I could not get it to let people vote for 4 different options (numpty) Anyone else do it ?

at the start of the season their manager was my tip to lose his job first - the bloke with the eyes big Sams mate - they have a bit of cash now Leonards gone and Ranger is now an Alone Ranger since they called "time" on his "timekeeping" amongst other thing
Glad to see Paul Jewell reads this thread and took my advice about Oldham's chances of survival -- Oldham are today without the wonga loans Charlton haven't won at home for yonks yet do well away - 3-0 anyone ?

Phil Brown, he said in a BBC interview that there were cash restraints from his chairman, might not be able to spend much on new players, they've got a new ground to save up and pay for, the SUFC Piggy Bank must be low.

ground is sold but problems
In the 1990s Southend United started planning to leave Roots Hall for a proposed new ground at Fossetts Farm ......  at least it wasn't the 1960's when Rovers "planned" to "leave" Belle Vue

.....     the more the memories the thicker the "roots" to sever

The world will have been annihilated by way of nuclear holocaust and Oldham will still be in the third tier of English football.

Oldham are dropping like a stone yes only 1-0 loss away against Shrews  last five games drew 2 lost 3 (the first of the five was the draw with Rovers)

next 3 games
charlton away
rotherham home
peterborough away

expect them to get 1 point out of nine --
Rovers play them 2nd last match of the season away and got a funny feeling a win there will relegate them

meanwhile suddenly southend & walsall challenging for relegation

for doom and gloom merchants rovers are still only 3 points ahead of previous relegation certainties Plymouth & Gillingham

so since DECember 27th Oldham have got exactly one point out of 9 (wasn't the hardest prediction to make) draw with Rotherham - haven't won in 8 games apparently and have finally eased themselves into the relegation places whilst Gillingham (who at the start of the season I thought were relegation certainties are a mere 9 points off  the play offs  - yet Oldham are in the last 8 for that meaningless (unless you get to Wembley) cup could they win that checkatrade cup and do the double by checking out the league ?

so Oldham lose again  signed a wolves striker on loan who was on loan earlier in the season AT COVENTRY and I thought things were going along nicely for relegation

then TODAY suddenly sky sports mention the Oldham takeover finally happening some x football agent

Abdallah Lemsagam

so instead of "no" to relegation it could be "nantes" this could explain how all those wonky named players have suddenly been turning up LOOKS LIKE A VERSION OF THE ROVERS EXPERIMENT OF WONKY PLAYERS A FEW YEARS AGO ?

New Oldham owner Abdallah Lemsagam set to recruit two MORE Nantes players as ex-agent leans on relationship with owner of French club
Oldham are set to sign two-more little-known Nantes players after their takeover
Abdallah Lemsagam completed his protracted takeover of the club on Friday
Sportsmail understands the duo are expected to seal moves to Boundary Park
Full backs Wilfried Moimbe and Enock Kwateng are poised to join Oldham

well it's judgement day for Oldham December 27th seems a long long while ago when CLH had a "funny"
they did actually only get 1 point out of those next three games as I thought --

the table on December 27th has them 4 points outside the bottom 3

exactly the same record as Plymouth !!! in fact strictly above them on goal difference

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42406953

so will Rovers relegate them and will the "funny feeling" come true Redj said they would still be in the division even if there is a nuclear war   -- the threat of that has cooled recently
