Why would he be out of our league? After the way that he has been treated at City I'm sure that he would welcome some stability and loyalty.
He probably wouldn't need to move house either.
He is respected and well liked by those that know him as well.

There's a very simple answer to that and it is - are we confiing ourselves only to people who apply for the job. All indications suggest we are and no one will be headhunted.

I seem to recall that Jaap Stam and Oscar (?) Garcia suddenly appeared in the betting just prior to fergie getting the job - I know stam mucked up the reading job but have no idea what Garcia is doing now - both of those, if they were interested before and are interested again could be in the running! I think rosier did a good job at Brentford and the guy who followed him (was it warburton?) also did well - maybe they'd be interested. To be honest as a none-attendee (bizarrely nothing to do with players, manager or board - I felt the club was in fab shape - just lost my mojo) this year, fergie walking was a bit of a surprise but I am sure the reasons behind him walking were agreeable from all sides. It will be very interesting to see what happens!

Not putting his name forward,but Keith Curle wouldn’t cost much as he lives within an hour away therefore no relocation money. He also has been spotted drinking in Bawtry fairly regularly in the last year or so .
He wouldn’t be my choice,wasn’t very popular with the Carlisle supporters when he was there

My mistake, thought he was at Chorley for some reason but that's Matt Jansen.

That's the sort of left of centre candidate who'd make an interesting appointment though.
