With being a few days to the start of the season I’ve been looking at other teams websites/forums,mainly Leagues 1 & 2 and a lot of them have held polls in the past of their favourite or best players from when they were formed.
 I can’t remember us ever doing this,I know we have the Legends etc , if we haven’t it might be worth looking into

Not quite the same, but there is a book by Peter Tuffrey called '100 Greats Doncaster Rovers Football Club'. It was published in 2003, so is missing quite a few important players who would make a top 100 now, e.g. Coppinger, Sharp, Stock, Wellens, Sullivan, O'Connor, G.Roberts, Hayter, and several more.

Still a very good read though.
