I think gloating after 2 games could quite easily see you with mud on your face once we’ve played some decent teams and the season is up and running. If we are here at the end of the season ..........then you can gloat but only then

Really??

There has been so much negativity on this forum about the squad and the B word..

Yet we have won two out of two and scored 6..

Still early days, but it’s advantage to the optimists I would say.!

I fully expect us to lose quite a few matches, and am personally hoping for a mid-table (say 10th to 14th) end of season position. I fully expect injuries, bad luck and bad referee decisions all to kick in at some point. If that counts as mud in your eyes when we lose then so be it. I will simply be enjoying the ride I began in 1962.

My comment was aimed at a few posters on here who have done nothing but moan recently, especially against the board.

By the way the last three seasons we won both our opening two league games were 2002-03, 2003-04 and 2012-13. I fully expect the sequence of promotions in those seasons to be broken.

Comments like this are what make people think the people who come on here and whinge constantly actively don't want us to do well. Honestly can't believe we've got someone here having a moan about people celebrating a win, and scoring three in successive victories. Mental.

Yes. Let’s not get carried away and enjoy the fact that we’ve scored 6 goals in 2 games, are second on the league on goal difference. Of course we will lose games but we haven’t yet.

Great start to the season, not very often we win 2 out of 2.
I seem to remember Peterborough came flying out the traps under McCann last season too. Think they won their first four matches until they played us and drew

When we eventually lose a game the doom-ladens May un-wring there gnarly paws and extract an ounce or two of “ I told you so’s “

And the angelic legion of positives can look at those results and extract some positives to give comfort...

However has we have only “ wins” to talk about at the moment, perhaps we should talk about the weather....and skip lightly over the fetid pools of doubt stinking up these fields of gold...
