Hi all
Has anyone been to see a show in London lately.
Going in a few weeks and would appreciate recommendations - quite fancy the Meatloaf one if it’s any good
Thanks

Just saw this, my brief synopsis of shows I’ve seen:
Blood Brothers - I’d go see again
Wicked-load of shit
Commitments- worth it for the sound track/humour
Stomp-foot tapping fun
Jersey Boys-I’d go again
Sunny Afternoon- brilliant
Body guard-ok( Bev knight rescued it amazing voice)
Once- great soundtrack
Billy Elliot- very good
Obviously some of those are not on anymore!!

I know a huge meatloaf fan who went to see Bat out of Hell and walked out after 20 minutes.  Biggest load of shite he'd ever seen, he said (he didnt see us under Danny Bergara, so I'll give him that).

I agree with Martin, Book of Mormon is probably the best show i've ever seen, and its utterly, utterly filthy as well as being hilarious.  If you like South Park humour then its a must-see.

Hasa Diga Ebowai, everyone!

Bit long in the tooth by now I guess but Phantom of the Opera is superb.  Lloyd-Webber at his best.

Saw Wicked last month @ The Victoria Apollo with daughter - I didn't understand the story whatsoever.
However the musicality, set designs and costumes were great .

If its not just musicals that you are looking at, The Play That Goes Wrong is superb - had our whole family (including a 12 year old and a 16 year old who generally sees smiling whilst with his family as a sign of weakness!) in stitches when we saw it in February and bits of it are still making me chuckle
