David Hopkin...Just posted on a different thread but it will be interesting to see how he does, I fancied him for our job prior to McCann being appointed

so history repeats itself and they got shot of Michael Collins

seems "tsack's disease" has become contagious and is spreading in West Yorkshire

and he wasn't the only manager to get "Stubbed" out.

reminds me of Kenny "Jackett" at Rotherham (who lived up to his name) and a past comedians phrase " I won't take my coat off - I won't be staying"

Just noticed on sky ticker tape it states that Bradford have signed a striker on loan from Rotherham - is this delayed/old news or some sort of loophole

It was only ever a matter of time with him.
Hopkin was interviewed in the summer and the two stories were that
a) he refused to work under their system of interference
b) he was too expensive to employ
That means one of three things,
They promise not to interfere, they have met his wage demands or he is desperate for a job.
I can't see them giving the manager free rein after what has happened previously even if they have promised Hopkin. I'm out on Thursday for a pint with some City fans so might find out more then.

Apparently they have been pretty bad this season but that's what you get when you sell your best players and replace them with what the owner thinks rather than the couch...

Apparently he suffered some real abuse on Saturday to the point that someone got into his face with abuse..That seems to have triggered this reaction..Hopkins was close to the job originally but they went with the cheap option because they are struggling financially..

As for the loan signing..They didn't send the e-mail to register him till the very last minute and initially they were told it was to late, however they provided evidence that it was sent just in time and they have let it go through...

I like the idea of a Team Couch. Could be better than several managers we've had at Rovers.

Better than a fair few players as well.
