Money back?????
« on October 06, 2018, 05:02:46 pm by raggytash »
If that was an away game on a Tuesday night fans would be demanding a refund... not really moaning but 2 shit performances in a week should set the alarm bells ringing, but the worrying thing is our reserves are dire so what do you do????

We weren’t shit today either, there were individual errors for 2 of the goals and some questions about the defending of the 2 corners
We didn’t take our clear cut chances - they took theirs including the 2 gifts.

You obviously weren’t at either game

We're in the top 6, prior to today it was our best start to a league season in 24 years. Chill out and enjoy your Saturday.

Bad day at the office, it happens. Look at Watford and P'boro today.

I agree it’s a great start which I think we’d all agree wasn’t expected, but the footballs been a major improvement on last year and a welcome relief, as gm got a plan b??? I don’t know, but seriously our squad strength is weak

Can't score at one end and can't defend at the other is a recipe for disaster. We got exactly what we deserved.

Trouble is, who else have we got?

Its Gilt edged chances but we should have lots of guilt for missing them. They all fell when we had real chances to get back in the Game

Take the 2 Marquis ones and it could have been 2-1 and after missing them and going 0-2 Marquis sidefooted the 3rd chance that fell to him over the bar again that COULD have been 1-2 and us "back in the Game" but we spurned every chance that came our way !

2 defeats and its a “disaster” for heaven sake get a grip. It was a bad day at the office.
Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. 3 guilt edged chances missed that on another day we would have buried and not picking up runners on corners something we have defended better this season up to today.
Why oh why do we get these ridiculous knee jerk reactions every time we lose.
A bit of perspective needed again I think.

I’d hate to have old Raggytash in the trenches next to me...suck it up man. It’s a 46 game season.

We narrowly lost Tuesday and were our own worst enemy today. Better finishing and remove those two gaffes and we win.

The only negative today is on the goal difference.

For me the game was lost when Wilks attacker didn't get sent off. They played the ref something terrible. Lost count of how many sly kicks or elbows went unpunished. Absolutely unbelievable the tackle on Marquis near the end didn't even get a booking. Did anyone see what went off near the dug outs at final whistle.

Agreed. At least some of us have a bit of perspective.

I attended both today's and Tuesday's defeat. Although below par in both games, we could easily have gained a point at Stanley and if we'd converted our chances today it could have been a totally different story. The truth is we didn't. And in fairness, Barton did a job on us. From the off, they gave us no time to settle, targeted our main threats and were quick to counter. On the downside, he'd drilled them to go in hard and employ the dirtiest of tactics. Most of which was whilst the ref (who was ball**x, by the way) had his eyes elsewhere. What really matters now is the result we can get at Rochdale. With both John and Malik being tame in the last two, they need to find the net again sooner rather than later and we need to improve our dire ability to prevent goals from corners/ set pieces if we are to remain in a play-off position.

I saw Barton spouting towards the end and Cliff Byrne facing him down. Barton moved away but seemed to be still sniping at Byrne by telling his Dug Out what had been going on but he (Barton) backed off

Also when Butler got injured and came off the 4th Official tried to follow him down the Tunnel buy Byrne stopped him. Again I am guessing but Byrne probably gave him a run down on the Fleetwood bully boys and they ended up pointing at each other. The 4th then seemed to say I will have you Booked and got out a little Book and started writing loads of stuff down. Byrne seemed uncaring  - and the 4th started (it looked like) to the Ref to grass up Byrne

Probably a follow on from that but at the final whistle I headed for home and missed any afters

Raggy: You’re stating opinions. When we lose you have a total meltdown. Those are facts my good man.

I’d love it if we won every game convincingly. We don’t. No team does. The team and manager will have learned some valuable lessons today. We didn’t actually play badly all things considered. We just gifted them a lot. And we missed a lot.

Calm yourself down. Have a beer or two. Hug your loved ones. We all go again next match.
