Haven't been caravanning in Devon or Cornwall for years. Went to the Hendra site about 20 years ago and that was OK. Also went on a few occasions to the Ayr site in St. Ives. It's the only caravan site in St.Ives.

We head North to Scotland these days for our main trip. Sands of Luce site is very good, as is New England bay (caravan club site), both on the West coast. Both quiet next to miles and miles of quiet beaches.

Can any fellow Caravanners recommend any good sites in Devon or Cornwall for next summer

Do you want a big commercial site or a quiet five van CL type site.

I have stayed on the Godrevy Caravan Club site on St.Ives Bay which was good but I usually use CL sites these days.

Andrewshayes just out side of Axminster on the Devon/Dorset boarder is a great site, and in the middle sizes wise. Also being on the A38 is great for getting most places along the Jurassic coastline.

If you are in the C&MC then Merrose Farm Club Site is very good near St Mawes. Access to the coast path and some lovely beaches via a small farm, across the road from the site, which also sells the local fresh fish catch. Ferry from St Mawes to Falmouth makes a good day out
