Ps. I also have three mates that bought 25 year season tickets at £2,500.
They certainly haven't had value for money having had I think the first two seasons and then having to pay extra but being able to sit in any part of the ground.
Certainly not the pay nothing more for 25 years that was promised.

I was in the gym this morning and talking to a couple of City fans. Another guy popped his head round and said. “Got Donny tomorrow haven’t you”?
“You’ve got to beat them, I hate em”.
I smiled and said be careful what you say I’ve been a Donny fan for over 60 years. He looked a bit funny and said, “It’s rivalry, we’ve always had good rivalry”.
It seemed a surreal conversation to have in a changing room in Bradford.
Let’s hope that he’s not too happy tomorrow.

To be honest Shelby I’ve never really had a problem with fans of any other club in all the 40 years that I’ve been exiled over here.
Whenever it’s come up who I support I have always been respected for sticking with my club.
I have had the occasional funny look and been asked “Why”?

Important we get back on track in away fixtures starting tomorrow Idler, although I expect Bradford to be up for a fight.
If we take our chances that we create, and play our own game, we have every chance of winning the game.

We really need the first goal to make it easier. They look like having Sean Scannel back who might make a difference but I can’t see him lasting more than 60 minutes in his first game back in months.
We need to push their defence as hard as we can. They haven’t had much width for a long time and Scannel is the only winger at the club. I wonder if he’s there to combat Wilkes and fill a gap in front of the full back.
Which Rovers will turn up?
We need a good 90 minutes effort and concentration. They should have a lot to worry about our forward play but possibly fancy scoring a goal or two.

I think tomorrow could be quite a high scoring game, if we get an early goal they have got to come out at us. Going for an ambitious 4-2 us.

Selby, there is a posssibility that they will rally round the club now that Rahic has gone and Julian Rhodes is back. Bowyer is a good manager and will turn them round given time. The interesting period will be at the season's end. Should they be relegated then how much will season tickets cost? If they raise prices fans used to paying low prices at a higher level might not be happy.
There is/was the also the Flexi ticket. That was £50 down and then pay £10 every time that you attended. This gaurunteed your seat due to their ground capacity. Some preferred this to a season ticket and bought accordingly.
It will certainly be interesting times.

This flexi model is a good one for folk who cannot make either weekend or mid week games due to work or shifts, but want to sit with their usual crowd. We haven’t quite got model right on this yet.

The thing is Chris their ground capacity is about 25,000. That gives you a lot of slack allocating seats.
I’m not sure just how good it would work in say the south stand.
Something the club could look at though. It might also really increase ticket office queues as you have to buy a ticket when you do attend unless you purchase online or via phone and collect from the window.

There is more than one way to win a game of football, the good teams find a way to do it when they do not play well, and for those that didn't go to the game, that is exactly what we did to win this game.
Bradford belied their league position and up to the 18 yards line in front of goal played very well, but like us in countless games in the past showed very little in front of goal, although we did have a scare in the first half when Doyle hit the outside of the post with a header across Marosi.
Tom Anderson had a blinder, and alongside Butler was solid, and made sure that Marko had very little to do as far as direct threats to our goal, but as a team, too many were off their best game, the Bradford manager's game plan working a treat.
One of the few moments of class we showed won the game, Wilks getting on the end of a delightful through ball from Crawford, and doing what he does well, hitting it early with power while on the run, beating the Keeper from the edge of the box.
Not our best display of this season, but three much needed great points, find a way to win, I will take that all day long.

Huge result today we could not afford to lose that game today with Peterborough winning. It would have given them the belief they could catch us. Still can of course but i don’t see us slipping up now.
That performance although well below our best offensively, was outstanding defensively. We showed a huge determination not to conceed and special praise to Tom Anderson & Butts who were quite outstanding. Master stroke bringing Anderson back into the team as he handled Eoin Doyle brillianly. MOM no question imo.
As Brian says in post above. FIND A WAY TO WIN, when you are below par & under the cosh.
Win against Plymouth and we will almost be able to see the finish line, as Peterborough’s last six games are tough. If they get 72 points with those fixtures then i will hold my hands up and say well done.
Well I will mutter it under my breath.

Results are more important than performances on the run in.

Exactly right - and with me in attendance (I met Scawsby at HT as well) thats the monkeys off our backs !

I felt sorry for the lad at the side of me who went to the Loo and missed the Wilks goal ! I kept trying to get him to go again but he would'nt  - but I made him my MOTM at the end

All we have to do now then is play well when you two are in attendence at an away game is play well and win.
I think a temporary only lifting of the ban is in order. It may depend on the home game result next week, the meeting will be outside the bogs on the West Stand concourse at half time.

You must have been there the same time as me Pancho. We were sat by the door under the window. I always go there pre-match. Friendly people and good fans. Sheffield Exile was sat just behind me. Hopefully they bounce straight back as I can't see them staying up now.

Bradford City sold 13,000 season tickets for next year at £150.
Can't see many wanting to pay £25 on the day though.
