belle Vue Bar
« on May 11, 2019, 08:32:34 pm by rich1471 »
I like a pre match drink as much as anybody else but opening at 9.30 seems a little early even for an early kick off, 10.30 i would have through would be early enough

It'll give the early arriving Charlton fans a good chance to get all the bloody seats.

Half nine is ridiculous

It is the ones who can’t handle the beer that are the problem.

Thing is, if the bar didn’t open till 10:30 you could guarantee somebody would moan on here that it only leaves less than two hours for supporters to drink and ultimately spend money that goes into the club... people would say it is a missed opportunity and I would probably agree.
The club are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

Jesus wept are there really people moaning that the bar is opening too early?
You do realise no one is making you go then?

Hope it's 2 hours late and 50 percent of their fans don't turn up.

Also fyi the players are holiday inn on A1 if anyone has any spare fireworks or fancy hourly fire alarm tests

Why on earth would want to have a drink at 9:00 on a Sunday morning before a match, I’m far from anti drinking because I dare say I’ve drunk more than most of the people who post on here, but 9:00  !!!!

Pretty sure it’s an option for you- nobody is forcing you to go.

BVB normally opens at noon for 3pm kick offs.

That's 3 hours before. This is 2 hours 45 mins before the 12.15ko, plus I dare say most folk will want to be in their seat for 12.

Don't see what the problem is. No one is forcing anyone to be there at 9.30.

And they do serve soft drinks too.

This forum has officially peaked. A 13 page thread on tickets and now one complaining about the bar being open too early. My god.

I can only decipher that this is a joke thread, people who are old enough to drink can drink when they damn well please, if they want to drink at 9 am they will find a way wether it’s a Wetherspoons or the BVB, as long as they make more than what they’re paying the bar staff an hour then surely it’s worth it? Lighten up Jesus Christ, some of you are probably the people who gasp out loud when the beers get cracked on the 06.36 down to kings cross on London away days
