Before the moans start, yes we would have all liked to win our opening two games but when you look at the league table:

- Peterbrough have lost twice already
- We've got the same number of points as Sunderland
- We're only one point off Rotherham and Pompey

..and we haven't finished assembling our squad yet.

So yeah could have been better but not a bad position to push on from.

Disappointing to be 4 points behind the top 3 but such a long way to so many points still up for grabs.

Hopefully we have a striker in on Monday to go into the team on Tues game and Wright is back. Maybe worth starting Ennis instead of Gomes.

Luton didn't win in their first 3 last season. Norwich won one of their first 6.

There’s no need for worry! We look good and the lad from arsenal will be equally as good if not better for us than the loan signings of last season. Sadlier as two in two for us and whoever we bring in as striker needs to be able to work alongside him

We need a striker it's clear but it's also clear we're going to do everything within reason to sign one or two. Next match Ennis should start up top for Gomes with Sadiler behind him probably should have done that today but DM is easing the new faces in which i quite like. there's a lot of positives

By all accounts Dale are one of the most improved teams since their new manager took over. They had a good result away at Tranmere last week, yet we are expecting to roll them over with ease?

This is a better result than some are making out. Yes, we know where we need to strengthen and the good news is DM does too. He already has with the lads from Wolves and Taylor who have only played bit parts in the two games to date.

Ask Peterborough and Sunderland fans how their spending has worked so far!

A hard place get a result I What seems always difficult conditions. We miss someone to hold on to the ball up front and bring players in . May was great again as was James .

It's two games.   I wasnt aware we we close to finishing the season.   Some attitudes on here are bizarre

I think we would have got a win if Ennis and Taylor had been brought on at half time, Give McCann his due, if it obviously wasn’t right he would do something about it there and then, not cross his fingers and hope it would improve.

Can't grumble too much, the stats were all going for Rovers, but the finish wasn't quite there. Hopefully it will improve game by game as the squad get used to each other's game, and we strengthen up front. No need to panic.

Luton didn't win in their first 3 last season. Norwich won one of their first 6.

Norwich famously lost their first home game in Aug 2009 7-1 to Colchester then drew at Exeter and lost at Brentford

They went on to be Champions (and beat Colchester 5 - 0 away)

Ennis and Taylor obviously not match fit that's why DM bedding them in , otherwise more injuries a possibility, can't believe we are being criticized after two good results , everyone knows we are short in certain areas , give manager time to get them in, we are not only team chasing these players

The most interesting thing of this of course being that Norwich responded to losing 7-1 to Colchester by poaching Paul Lambert, the Colchester manager!
