Parkinson quits Trotters
« on August 21, 2019, 07:40:56 pm by Branton Rover »
Has walked out of Bolton taking his assistant with him - clearly thinks he can get a better job elsewhere - I don’t like him he’s smugness personified

I doubt he has been paid along with the players
There's only so much you can take especially when the takeover is going at snails pace

He was supposedly scouting for Bolton while still Bradford City manager. Then left to go to Bolton.

Apparently he hasn’t been paid for 5 months - I perhaps have got him wrong -

Didn’t know about his moonlighting might’ve been right all along

Does this count as another manager being sacked/leaving after playing Rovers...?

Bit of an odd attitude to take towards him considering the circumstances. I don't think anyone at Bolton has been paid in months, that certainly includes the manager and his staff. Credit to him/them for sticking it out this long. It's a total shambles.

This now begs the question:

Did Parkinson actually have a say in last night’s ‘postponement’?

Speaking to a customer today and he nearly fell over when Phil Parkinson poured him a pint in the pub he was in Monday night.

Clearly had too many pints.

Cares so much about the welfare of his "young kids" he's abandoned them.....

On one side you can't blame him but would we do the same?

I think most of us would after months without pay and an administrator pulling the strings above your head who doesn't seem to have a clue. Can't blame the guy at all.

At least the administrator pulled the strings that Parkinson wanted pulling before he walked.

From the date the administrator was appointed the manager/Players and Staff will be being paid...It's law that a administrator has to employ and pay them from the date they take over or make them redundant as a preferential creditor..

Will he have been paid all the backpay that he's owed yet? Genuine question, never a situation I've been in thankfully!
