Were the numbers shown at half time on Saturday?

.... shown at Half Time and several times during 2nd half Dont forget if you buy Tickets always look at board as they are there to be checked

A "ding dong" tone of some kind would be good when they go on for first time in 2nd half (to let people know they are there) ..... but Ive suggested it before lol.

Could be done when there is a break in play

Results were also "Tweeted" around 56 minutes or so

A "ding dong" noise happening during the game would be really off-putting, to the players primarily of course but also to fans, who I'm sure would just laugh every time.

If you enter the Half Time draw, then you should be wary yourself of the results being on the screen. If revealed during HT, then the guy on the tannoy should be directing attention to it as I believe they often do?

Thats correct and exactly why I said "could be done when there is a break in Play". An injury or similar would do - and again I reiterate that the "noise" should be only done the once when the Draw results go up in the second half

We have come a long way when there were people who didnt see the results at HT and as a result of posts on here the Club responded and started to display the Results several times during the half - so maybe people just need to be aware they will be there 4 times at least during the second half

However they often play a noise in Italy when they are showing latest football scores just to alert people that they are there and that also works

I dont think it is illegal after all Lincoln do (or did) play that bloody Air Raid siren every time they got a corner

It isn't illegal but it would be distracting and frankly, I feel, it would be a bit tinpot. So long as the club display the numbers at HT on the big screen and post them pronto on the website afterwards, I don't see any need to do more than that. If I buy a draw ticket, I will be seeking the results myself to see if I've won.

Agree to a point

Showing them only at HT used to result in loads of questions on here after nearly every game because people did not see the Results or hear them becasue they were on the Concourses having beer and Burgers and Pees

I used to write down the results KNOWING that people would ask for them. I then got into the habit of taking a photo of them so that they were accurate.

However I kept saying on here (nearly every week) all the Club needed to do was announce the Numbers at HT and show them on the Big screen AND show them again say 10 minutes into the Second Half. To their credit they started doing that and I was chuffed to death to see it happen.

The only thing now is that now and again people still ask so it is obvious that they dont know the info is there for them to see. I recently met a fan who did not know what the Pukka Pie Draw was - because he never looked at the Big screen he said - so to me it seems people just dont look at it and though I agree playing a tone could be a bit cheesy it could be done just the once - when the ball is out of play

Cheesy yes but effective ? Probably - and lets face it Lincoln have that bloody air raid siren - now that is BAD

Very fair points Donnywolf, and I do remember the changes coming in when we had lots of questions on here. All I can say is that, based on your post there, the club has taken every step it can. If people are still ignorant to the results when they're posted multiple times on the screen then that's on them.

I get that we all want to get a beer/smoke/toilet break at half time, chat to friends, and the game is on in the second half, but if I'm buying draw tickets I make sure to check the screen, or if I'm elsewhere get someone I'm with to do so for me. I think the current process is a pretty good one and hopefully most catch them when they're displayed or put online.

 Agreed - if / when I buy Tickets I know where to get the Results - and the Club really have addressed the bulk of the concerns
Now we have just an odd question about twice a Season rather than nearly every week
