I think our two year standard also largely extends to contract renewals as well. Cannot think of too many renewals that were for three years. Marquis?

We have got to get these lads re-signed up and soon. The team is looking like a great unit. Yes the loans will be going back but when we move up a league we have money to spend and some of them may come here permanently.

Aside from his excellent performances, we could do with anchoring our central defence for a few seasons around Anderson. We have to be realistic that given his record, Joe Wright might not be the guy to play through an entire season. John will likely go back to Wolves and both Baptiste and Daniels are one season jobs. Maybe the younger lads McLean and Blaney could be ready to step up next season.

He's outstanding, completely agree that we need to get him to sign a new deal ASAP.
I really feel that he will making the step up the championship next season, with or without us.

Lots of people on here slated him when he first came. I said at the time that the lack of a warm welcome for a kid who was clearly going to improve was disgraceful.

He's rapidly becoming quite the player.

Last three league games, he's played against three highly rated strikers (Walker, Ladapo and Norwood) and he's snuffed the lot of them out.
