Am I the only one

Who came out of Portman Road disapointed. I thought our performance deserved a win, we stifled their attack, flowed through midfield and were within a whisker when we hit the post. I recon if we can get an out and out striker we have no-one to fear in this division. Well done today lads!

I would have taken a point before the game but when I came out at the end was disapointed. we do need to score more but I would not want Ennis left out he is quality,I talked to three or four Town fans and they said we were the best team they had played and they liked the good football we played well done Darren.

In fairness I think the comment that we need to score more is quite harsh, we have scored more goals than almost half the division this season already and if you take away the teams who have played Bolton etc and scored a hatful we would have scored double what Rotherham have, more than Ipswich etc.
We have also conceded the third lowest goals in the league upto now also, tied with Peterborough and just behind Burton and Ipswich.

It's been a very good start to the season and whilst I agree that we could probably do with another striker as another option, I don't necessarily agree that we need to score more goals.
The fact that our defence has been so solid has meant we have been able to grind out 2-1 wins which is fine by me if it continues.

Roll on Tuesday.

Because we've played two matches less than most of the league?

Exactly, nothing is certain but had we played Bolton and Bury when we were supposed to in all likelihood we'd be on 18 points and sat at the top right now.

And more than likely we would have got 7 or 8 goals combined in both games and we would be the highest scorers in the division.

We are doing well and we should enjoy it while we can because it's almost impossible to continue throughout the season in this vein of form.

Seen loads of town fans saying we are the best side they have seen in a few years bear in mind they have been a championship side for most of that. Darren Moore is building something special here hope it continues just think we need that one more piece of the Jigsaw wether that's Victor or someone else. I for one can't wait for every game now.

Count down to Moore's pre-match on Monday the game on Tuesday then the pre-match on Thursday and game Saturday this is how I live my week now

Forget Bury as no one has or will be playing them. That game is irrelevant. Points and goals.
