Was on sky sports earlier.
The cynic in me says he’s raising his profile hoping to get a better move.

And right on cue up he pops just to underline it.

Explain why? Apparently he is helping our young strikers out without us paying him, not sure what you think we are losing in this arrangement but then I can’t honestly say thought was ever used in your posts

That’s not fair! Esdailles thinks he’s f***ing hilarious and inventive every time he posts. Just because he’s wrong doesn’t mean he hasn’t thought about it. 😁

I agree with the original thread. It’s tome now to put up or shut up and train somewhere else

I’d have thought I’d there was anything going to happen it would have by now

Positives and negatives of Anichebe training with us:

Positives
- We have a high calibre player training with us who we may end up signing, who on paper at least is well out of our league
- He will be a decent influence on our young forwards in training, who can learn from his experience

Negatives
- A section of our fans will continue to grumble that he’s a waste of time and money until he leaves/signs

Depends how much snap he's getting through in the Cantley Park canteen. 😉

Leave it to the manager he will decide if he wants him. We then come the difficult part a contract.

If we did offer a contract would it be subject to international clearance?

Why? Is it hurting us as a team? Are we suffering from him being with us? Are you and the op negatively affected?

“You’d want to get it those levels where he’s got games under his belt,” Moore said.

“Match fitness is a completely different thing.“

That’s what I don’t get? If that’s the case why isn’t he having a run out in the development/reserve/practice games?

DM is saying that he's still trying to get him up to match fitness, and may try to get some behind closed doors friendlies to help with that.

All that suggests to me that a deal is still very much on the cards.

I like the idea of DM insisting that VA shows he’s match fit before offering a deal. if he doesn’t show the required fitness level prior to signing a deal, then we could be paying out good money for him for who knows how long until he is fit to play, if ever!

That's what DM has consistently said, yet the DFP ran stories starting with the line "We understand.. “ or" Reports suggest... " fuelling speculation about the offer of a contract.

Best thing to do is forget about VA and lets get on with what we have.

DM is taking care of things so why worry. VA is helping our young strikers just by being around, so all those having a ‘pop’ at him should think again.

New article now on DFP  website giving update on VA. Although working hard still some way off match fitness and DM will not be offering a  contract until he is. Still giving advice and support to our strikers.

Sounds more to me like we're the ones deciding. He's probably got more money than what he knows to do with after going to China so wages may not be an issue
