Why Whiteman deal shows Rovers intent
« on November 28, 2019, 09:09:48 pm by RoversAlias »
Hi folks,

Thought I'd follow today's great news with a look at why Ben Whiteman is so important to our side, and why his new contract demonstrates that Rovers are moving in the right direction. You can check out the piece at the link below:

Personally I'm delighted we've tied him down to a long-term deal, as even if he doesn't stay until 2023 we now have a much better negotiating position if a bigger side comes in for him. Hopefully though it won't come to that because Ben will be there to lift the trophy when we get promoted back to the Championship!

Many thanks for reading, as ever, and please let me know your thoughts on the news and today's piece. The usual pre-match fare for Sunday's Gillingham game will be along tomorrow.

Is it also a good move by the club to enable any potential price tag to go up.  Clubs are bound to come knocking
