Fleetwood Town

They are on a poor run of form.

They have won 1 in last 12, losing 4 and drawing 7.

Last home game they won was 23 November against Tranmere Rovers, 2-1.

Since then they have had 5 draws and 2 defeats at home.

Yet they are still in a shout of the play off places.

We've had 4 wins and a draw from our last 6 games and are still not in the play off places. What does that say to you?

The last time you posted something like this was ahead of Sunderland at home.

EDIT.  I have also remembered that you also posted ahead of the Coventry game that they had only ever beaten us once.

Just to recap - these are objective facts that cannot be changed due to the confines at present of human knowledge and discovery in physics and astrophysics. There is not a lot that any of us can do about events that have already passed I am afraid.

That they are on a poor run of form is a fact and folk can draw their own conclusions about what this might or might not mean about the future - including our own game against them. I certainly have drawn no conclusions.

It tells us that at some point earlier in the season they were in better form, results wise. That’s all..

The MK dons recap told us we would win at a canter
What they’ve done recently may be factual but doesn’t really mean much for our game

CBCB, I get all that mate but I am a believer in not tempting fate (to go against us).
I bet I am not the only poster on here who shudders when they read stuff like you posted ahead of our matches.

I have already posted my prediction wolfie.

However, if we don't win I will hold CBCB responsible.  ;)

On the subject of tempting fate, I don't like it when folk state just after we have scored... (example) "We're up to 3rd in the table now" when there is still 80 minutes of the game to go...

Err, can I have a go?

It says, (counts on fingers and thumbs) that they were above us 2 months back.

Aye. I were reight.

30 Nov, Fleetwood were 6 points ahead of us, having played one game more.

Now they are 2 points below us, on level matches.

In the last 2 months, they have picked up 10 points from 10 games. Relegation form. Worth noting that we've had a harder run of games too.

We have picked 18 from 11. Play off form.

I think we need to knock these posts on the head. Each time the stats show we should win

We don’t

The fact is we are dropping points against the contenders, but with an eye on the long game it shouldn’t matter too much

Aye. Don't talk about facts! The capricious spirits that govern the affairs of mankind might take umbrage.
