Can't beat that, my oldest is 47.
I do have a handbook from 1925, would be interesting to find out if anybody has anything earlier.

I'm lucky enough to look through a player's scrap book who played  in that team. Quite a few programmes and newspaper clippings. Even had all the autographs of the team on a menu, from the dinner at the mansion house to celebrate the promotion.

I did have a 1934 one but I am in the process of selling lots of stuff and that went some time ago on eBay.

A goal less draw at home to Southport in May 1963.

Are the Players numbered 1 to 22 ? Cant remember when that stopped but I had one ages go where away Keeper wore 22

Also are the Players laid out like this example from the day I was born ....
I can imagine in those days this would be useful for i'd of Players as there were no subs and rigid formations - so whichever way the Teams kicked in each half turn prog round and they were in their respective positions
Great idea but as I was not born for another few hours I cant take the credit for that

Seriously impressive.

I had a Sheff U one from 1922 but the b****r disappeared

I now have close to 1000 in boxes from 60s 70s and they are not worth a deal I dont think despite being 40 + ish  years old on average

Sorry mate- you are 100% correct. Unlikely ones are the best- just got a Wales v England 1947 this morning £15 as i also collect others. Rarest tend to be wartime and on poor paper but its not the quality which counts. Funnily enough I have a Norwich v Rovers 1938 in colour and 16 pages. Shows how they were heading?
