Is there any competition he has played in where Copps does not hold the record for Rovers?

I assume that league, FA Cup, League Cup and the lower league trophy (now EFL Trophy) records are held by Copps. Also play off games.

What about appearances in the second and third tiers (post-regional leagues)?

There are couple of records he does not hold CBCB:

As far as the league goes, in the non-regionalised tier 3 (from 1958-59 season) Copps is indeed the leading appearance maker with 324 prior to this season (so 351 as of now), the second player is Colin Douglas with 168.

With only one season in tier4 Copps is nowhere near the leaders. Actually the 3 leading players are separated by 1 game only, namely Dennis Peacock 237, and Colin Douglas and Stan Brookes with 236 each.

For Tier 2 (which has never been regionalised) Copps 190 Championship appearances are the most since 1958-59, but fifth overall after 1940s/50's Division 2 players Bert Tindill 314, Len Graham 289, Brian Makepeace 274 and Ken Hardwick 234.

Copps is our leading FA Cup appearance maker with 35, followed by Tindill with 28 and Makepeace with 27.

He is NOT our leading FL Cup appearance maker - he has not always appeared in those games and has 25, one behind Dennis Peacock with 26.

Equally he is NOT our leading AMC (in all guises, JPT, Checkatrade etc) appearance maker, again not often playing although the trophy winning run of 2006-07 provided him with several. He has only 11 appearances, well behind Colin Douglas with 23, and no fewer than seven other players have 11 or more appearances. Of course we did not play in that competition during our Championship seasons.

He is our Football League playoffs leading appearance maker with 5, but if we include Conference playoffs then Paul Green is the leader with  6 appearances.

Needless to say there are plenty of national competitions that he has not played in - e.g. Conference, FA Trophy and the FC (MacMillan) Trophy.
