Just heard Lawrence Dallaglio on talksport, not a big fan of his but thought what he was saying had some validity. He was on about when you’re a player and the press, when you win  you’re not as good as what they hype you up to be in the press and when you lose you’re not as bad as what the press say. It made me think of the polarised views on here, when we win at Tranmere we are unstoppable going straight up automatically, as soon as we drop a few points, we’re totally inept and Moore doesn’t know what he’s doing. Isn’t the truth we’re somewhere in the middle? We’ll probably win slightly more than we’ll lose. In my opinion we’ll probably miss out on the play offs but it’s not the end of the world, we’re in a better position now than I thought we’d be after the upheaval in the summer.

Totally agree, the superlatives that some of these commentators and summarisers come out with at times for a piece of play by a player or a player or teams overall performance is just completely and utterly way over the top.

Can’t argue with that beast.  To be fair though, it is a select few who offer the polar opposite opinions on here.
Most posters are reasonable with their criticisms or praise.
