You've got to treasure them...

...because one day there won't be any more.

Coppinger's simply exquisite cross for the second goal.

Yet another "Will that be the last time we have the privilege of watching such genius at work?" moment. I reckon that's about 78 times I've felt that in the past 2-3 years.

Ramsey needs to become the “ wizards apprentice” If we can extend him for another season !
He’s young, ...but has a good turn and close control .....

I love coppinger to bits, but if copps had put the performance sadlier did in that first half this forum would be going into meltdown
He was outstanding

He was. Doesn't change the fact that Coppinger once again provided THE outstanding moment of the match.

The whole movement of the team for that second goal was outstanding, absolutely sublime one touch football with a good finish.

It was a sumptuous goal.

When Coppinger received the ball, I was screaming for him to lay it off to Sadlier down the outside.

What the chuff do I know about football?

One of the reasons I always want him on the pitch in games is that assist. He didn't really have a good game in general play, gave possession away a fair bit especially in the first half, but he just has that intrinsic vision and quality that is always, always vital and can change a game in an instant. A terrific ball across as part of some excellent interplay on that right side of the pitch and ultimately it created the winning goal.

I hope he plays til he's 70.

Copps is an odd one when he plays it back or slow it can causes us problems however when he goes forward we look a completely different side and look like we will score every chance

Sadlier could well be Copps II... if he stays that long.

It was some top drawer jedi shit form Copps though.

It was a great ball by copps
But also the first goal was a great run by sadlier and ball into James.
The last 3 games sadlier has gone up another level , he’s created 3 of our last 6 goals.
We desperately need to tie him down, Iain dowie described him as “as good a right sided attacker there is outside the prem”

He looked rusty last night, I thought. As good a reason as any to have him as the first name on the team sheet every week.

As BST said, when Copps got the ball, the obvious pass was to outside, but it was Halliday making that run, not Sads, but Copps produced a moment of magic.
He had his back towards where he eventually played the ball but he instinctively knew  where to play it.
He must have eyes in the back of his head.(Yes he did have a look).
At the game we were also saying that this is the reason we need him on the pitch because he can, in a moment, produce stuff like that and create a goal.
He didn’t have the best of it in the first half but he certainly did after the break.

Good header by Ennis too. I was one of the people criticising his finishing abilities a few weeks ago, but since then he’s scored 3 good goals, and I’m delighted to have been proven wrong! I think he’s really kicked on since we brought in some extra competition for his place.

Can’t disagree on that last point pib.
Also I think he struggled when playing as the number nine.
He looks better playing from the left.

Copps looked up and saw Ennis just before he released that pin point cross, Hound. It was the best goal of the night, without a doubt.

Yep, I said that Alan. I put it in brackets after I said he must have eyes in the back of his head.

It was an unbelievable cross, he made it impossible to miss. I feel that if anybody else in the team gave away the ball as many times as he did in the first half it would’ve been mentioned though, someone else said rusty, I think that’s even a touch generous

I'll take 5 misplaced passes for one moment of sublime genius like that cross.

Worth noting that, whilst it WAS on a plate for him, the finish from Ennis was thumping. Worthy of the quality of the cross.

Also Ennis has the wherewithal to point out where he wanted the ball, at the time when Copps glanced over..

The build up before that was excellent too.
