Muslim Funerals

There was an interesting Magazine article on Chanel 4 news last night.
A requirement of the Muslim faith is that all Deaths are buried within 24 hours, I didn't know but the body has to be stripped and washed and certain prayers have to be said,it's usually done by close members of the family. Unfortunately due to the current sittuation
This is impossible as most folks that normally do it are elderly relatives who are in the vulnerable group.
In Luton and other densely populated areas a large group of young Muslims have volunteered to perform the role as it has been taking up to a month to bury some people from their community who have died,they also attend the funeral and perform certain functions there a funeral was shown and only one family member attended and the volunteers. In these challenging times people from all walks of society are making contributions and sacrifices to help others, many are unsung heroes,I have nothing but utter admiration and respect for all such selfless people.Well done and may, God,Allah,Budda or whichever god you believe in bless you.
