That goal he scored to get us a 2-2 draw at Huddersfield is a stand out memory of Greenie for me.

Oh come on. Taking the lead against Arsenal or the conference final have to be better? Of at least more significant and memorable.

Fond memories sat in a hotel in Kiev during a massive thunderstorm watching him play for ROI in euro 2012 and feeling so proud a rover had got there

I said it was a stand out memory for me, and it was.
If you had been there you would know why.
We were 2-1 with ten men and he smashed home a brilliant shot high into the far side of the goal to shut up the Huddersfield fans.
Those other goals that you mentioned were also stand out memories of course.

His volley away at Millwall was outstanding.

Even the home fans clapped.

ThenHuddersfield match was certainly something. SOD making two early substitutions was certainly different and galvanised the side, and Rovers fans.
I did feel thigh that Greenie's form had suffered compared to previous seasons and he really picked up from that time. We seemed to move up a gear after that.
After the game a car followed us all the way from Leeds Rd. to the outskirts of Bradford. At traffic lights a Rovers fan jumped out of the car and asked if we were on the right road as fellow Rovers fans they were following our scarves. I explained that we lived in Bradford and put them on the right road.

I also remember leaving the ground after the match and hearing some Huddersfield supporters being sarcastic and saying that they would see us next season.
Of course we went up and they didn’t get the pleasure of our company.

I think he scored just before half time as we were giving Millwall a mullering - finished 3-0 but could easily have been double figures..
