Belles kick off their Division 1 Midlands 2020-2021 campaign away in Birmingham this Sunday.

Andy Butler has strengthened the squad with some experienced and older players, and on the back of a really good pre-season the Belles are hopeful of a good showing this time out.

Belles have 11 league games upto Xmas of which 5 are at home - all played at Rossington FC on Sundays 2pm ko - and as things stand SUPPORTERS CAN ATTEND, subject to covid restrictions etc.

£3 in or £30 season ticket - more details of fixtures and tickets on the Belles website at https://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/belles or twitter @donnybelles.

Here are the 5 pre-Xmas home league games:

Sunday 27th September - Bedworth United

Sunday 11 October - Long Eaton United

Sunday 8th November - Solihull Moors

Sunday 29th November - Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sunday 6th December - Wem Town

NB in addition there could be WFA Cup/ League Cup/ County Cup games if the Belles are drawn at home on 18th Oct, 1st Nov, 15th Nov.

Here's hoping for a really good season for the Belles that will set them back on the way to where they belong.
I was looking at the article on the DFP website about Andy Butler's impact as manager. How come articles on there about Rovers come under the heading "Football" but this article about the Belles comes under "other sport"? Here's me thinking they played football, same as the men.

Let's hope that like the Rovers in the Conference they have now bottomed out and it's the start of a return to some sort of normality.
Onwards and upwards hopefully.

This league is amateur status only ..if we were to gain promotion then next year they could go fully or semi professional again .

yes a tight game until around the 60th when Bouldmere took advantage of 2 defensive lapses to go 2-0. Belles WOM for me - Jasmine Saxton - then pounched on a keeper error to bring Belles back into it, and in the 99th she squared it across the box for Jess Andrew coming in at the back post to hit in a deserved equaliser. Could have won it with the last touch of the game - storming header from a free kick that skimmed the bar - a well won point against last year’s runners-up. Looking forward to the first home next Sunday.
