Taylor Richards vs Charlton:

• 82 minutes played
• 38 touches
• 19 accurate passes
• 2 key passes
• 5/6 ground duels won
• 2 fouls won
• 3/3 tackles successful

Not too shabby!

He’s quality isn’t he. He can only get better as he settles in. Where are those stats from by the way?

You can see why they paid 2.5 million for him

Not sure about that, they're very different players.

He was ace. And what a unit as well - he could rip up this league.

Let’s hope he doesn’t get injured then we can see how he develops this season. He’s not Copps but judge him on his play not because he keeping Copps out of the side. He has different attributes and so does Copps.

It won't be. They spent a lot of money on him only a year ago and he has undoubted quality to progress into a player who can be important for Brighton.

Nobody is Copps. We shouldn’t be trying to make comparisons.

Not fair on the other players to do that.
It’s a different team without him. Different players, slightly different style of play.

Let’s enjoy what we see of JC this season & although it’s hard to contemplate after 17 seasons, life will go on, as will DRFC when he has played his last match.

Having said that he is a genuine legend in the same way King Alick was.
Not suggesting for one second he isn’t or that we won’t miss him.
We will.
