I seem to remember a story of Nobby playing for England v Scotland, waiting in the tunnel to come out Nobby sees his team mate Denis Law, All the best Denis says Nobby, Law s reply was a disdainful glare and a toss of his blonde hair

I was friends with John Stiles for a while so met Nobby a few times.
He was a top bloke and a gentleman.
