We hear lots of people in and around the game saying there's enough money in football, we should be able to help these clubs.

Just wait a minute. The problem occurs when clubs are run badly. Why should there be bail outs for clubs who persistently spend beyond their means?

We keep going back to the same things. Yes, there should be scope for a better distribution of wealth through the football pyramid starting with the abolition of parachute payments.

Prevention better than cure. More regular financial health checks on clubs. Detailed accounting etc.

The salary cap should help clubs keep things in order however, monitoring clubs stay within this will be interesting. That said, if a club is particularly successful and make a profit, there should be a mechanism that would allow them to reinvest and exceed the salary cap by an agreed level.

No club has a devine right for their place in the football pyramid. If beyond all of the above, clubs still go to the wall, if their fans and communities are strong enough, they will reform and come back

There may be a lot of money in football, but when it all gets piled into the accounts of over paid players, there was always going to be a price.
Sadly, I fear that even the demise of a few football clubs won’t change this.
And it may not just be a few..........
