Clash of kits v Northampton
« on December 06, 2020, 04:44:31 pm by danumdon »
Do we know the rational behind the choice of kits for the game yesterday.

I thought it looked bad watching it on the stream, i would of imagined that playing in the game and having to make a quick decision on a pass ect would of been hindered by the clash of kits.

The way we have been playing lately i would of thought any marginal gains for us would be seized upon.

yesterday was the reason why we have the black away kit, no?

Have seen a lot worse. Thought it was strange we didn’t change to away strip but it was ok watching for me.

Should abandon away kit. Lost the 3 away games playing in that kit.

I don’t like it. Think it looks dreary. I know some of you do like it.
Boring if we were all the same.

Agree think that’s why we played in home strip.

Which were the 3 away games we lost wearing the away kit? We definitely wore the red and white hoops against Hull and Plymouth.

The hoops look awful with the Red shorts. Get the White ones back out!

Just testing you SS. You have won this weeks prize. Sorry you are quite right. I must be having night mare flash backs to the time we have played in that strip. I seriously don’t like it.
From close up it is ok but from a distance it is miserable. Just my opinion of course.

Sure we did at Wigan.

It may have been better for the players but it wasnt the best for me as a viewer even though you would think it not much of a clash

However not as bad as one I saw the other day - where I thought it was Blackburn v Millwall and the latter changed into Green and White halves YES no kidding- take a look

Well you would not want to watch that in Black and white would you.  Do you think Millwall were taking the p..s turning up at Blackburn with that strip.

That's defiantly a third kit required there. I wouldn't of thought there are too many teams having that setup for an away kit. What would be the odds on that?

I didn’t see a problem easy to distinguish between the two although a green away kit would be far better

Hate green kits, that should be reserved for the keepers shirt. always been an unlucky colour to me, never done rovers any favors either.

Brings to mind that awful grey kit that Man U had that Freguson complained about when they got turned over, said the players could not pick each other out from the crowd. a bit like the similar kit that England had around 96 era.

if we played in the same kit as the opposition you would not get mixed up, just look at the team that keeps giving the ball away and keeps passing backwards and sideways lol

2 out of 3 ain't bad. Blackburn and Wigan, yes, Oldham, no.

I've also noticed, looking at the Oldham highlights, we conceded yet another goal from a free kick. We're really not very good at defending those.

The green kit wasn’t particularly unlucky that day at Brentford.
