He has struggled in a poor Gainsborough side this season.
Has a bit of petulance about him which hopefully can be harnessed
He was superb for the u18’s and he made the step up to the u23’s ok, but with a few blemishes (red mist again). I hope he’s become a little bit wiser, by being on loan, but he needs to hang on to that competitive spirit as it’s what makes him special. I enjoyed watching him at Cantley, but you can almost sense when a card’s coming and a good experienced player alongside him would do him the world of good.I can see why DM held onto him, when he had to make those choices in the summer. Unfortunately, MW missed out, but it must have been very close.
Trouble is guys, the rougher stuff is being eradicated from the game. Whilst being strong or brave is an advantage, there's a line where refs will punish you for anything that looks half dangerous.Just look at our yellow cards yesterday. It was hardly a dirty game.
