Hi folks,
I thought I would be writing a review of the Ipswich game today but the whole world has turned upside down! Instead my thoughts on Darren Moore's sudden Rovers departure are now up on the site, looking at how events unfolded over the past few weeks and trying to make sense of it all, as well as a bit on new manager Andy Butler and his chances of guiding the team forward over the next couple of months. Check it all out at the link below:
https://www.intotheemptynet.com/post/darren-moore-done-doncaster-rovers-andy-butler-new-manager
Please let me know what you're thinking and how you're feeling. A shocking one for sure, but something we'll all have to move on from fairly quickly considering the run of games ahead. What are your thoughts on it all and do you think this is something the club can respond to?

Thanks Bob - it's one of two careers I put my time into at the moment although it's the one that is more for the love of doing it than any financial gain at this stage. I love the club and I enjoy writing about it.
Appreciate the kind words!

I accept that a job offer could be very distracting from the work in had but DM being evasive, what would you expect him to say ................. well yes I have had a job offer with more money I'm thinking about it?

Excellent article, Alias; especially the point that DM has basically achieved nothing to be remembered for.
In fact, had he stayed and not kept the team in the top 6, which I believe would have been the case, that would have been 2 successive seasons of underachieving the board's ambitions.

Thanks for the feedback folks! Yes Steve, I'd say that if he had stayed and not taken us into the Play Offs this season then the scrutiny would have increased significantly next season once any bad patch set in.
Sydney - I wasn't pointing his answer out to lambast Moore or anything, merely pointing out that his elusive response at the time can be viewed in hindsight with a different lens than it was at the time by many of us.
