It’s the same old same old .” Not our fault “ stuff . This lot have no passion for football only a short term view that says “ We don’t have sell “ But still do . Let players leave for nothing ( Max Watters ) who Crawley then sold for £1m . Let the best players leave but don’t say for how much , so never know where the moneys goes . F.A Cup proceeds never undisclosed . Players contracts allowed to run down so players end up looking to leave as little or no insensitive to stay. New manager recruitment only carried out after season promotion is lost . Gavin Baldwin couldn’t run piss up in an empty brewery!!

Every other roversforum is anti board, and in some cases as you might know are thinking of ‘decorating’ the keepmoat what this entails I have no idea... so for posters on here to say a small minority is absolutely ridiculous..... I’d say the vsc members are the minority by far..
Just as expected the Baldwin and blunt snowflakes appear.... is it true though??? You look at every other rovers site and tell me the response????
There’s 3 or 4 at least
Another idiot who can’t accept the truth

It does 1 of 2 things which is... A) Give AB false hope at securing the managers job (which isnt fair)B) Tee the fans up for the possibility that he has a genuine chance of getting the role.If the board have no intention of appointing him then to show him the respect he deserves they need to grow a pair, nip this in the bud and tell him to polish his boots ready for next season or speak to him in regards to a coaching role. Either of those roles im happy with and the fact that he has a future with the club is really pleasing and very much deserved but please god not as the manager.Of course, I forgot that employment rules and regulations don’t apply in football!!!?They can’t tell him not to apply, that would be discriminatory, and so this is exactly what I would expect. They can have (and I assume will have) the conversation and make alternative offers after the process is complete. I’d also expect them to want to consult with the successful candidate about ABs role as well. Therefore why list a series of demands that candidates must meet and then still offer it to people who dont meet the criteria? Pulling him aside and having a discussion is not discriminatory. "Welcoming his application" is something that didnt need to be published if they give him no chance of getting it in that case. It can just be a thanks but no thanks behind closed doors meeting and nobody need know he applied.

Steve Lamacq from Radio 1 was drinking in the Park Hotel before that match. Big Colchester fan.
