If Rovers had set on a new manager prior to today's game he would have been our saviour, the one who turned us around in a matter of days, the one who has given us hope, and the one who should have replaced DM straight away.

Andy Butler would have been where he belongs, on the pitch and with no say in picking the team because he was out of his depth doing that, as the result shows following his replacement!

You can never say never, Doncaster Rovers don't do things the easy way but we need to put a run together, it's not impossible we've done it before this season. Could you imagine the scenes Butler with a 90th minute header to win at Wembley.

I actually thought AB was looking shattered at the point he took over in the dugout he’d played in a long run of games and I feel he was due a rest from playing - had he continued to play part time - play 2 games sit out 2 then play again - potentially we could’ve been still in the top six but it’s a game of who knows
