Can safely say Barlow and Gardener are possibly the worst signings I’ve seen at that level, the football was abysmal but even worse was the run of the mill stuff, Got told my DNA card would be ready to pick up today, goes in only to be told they haven’t printed the next batch, then the bar is closed …why??? Then told its shut for the next two home games then the idiots in the ice bar served 4 people in my queue at half time!!!! Then the clown who eventually served me gave me 3 pints of bitter instead of bud…. w**k:
We were poor today and I took my 15 year old Grandson for the first time after getting season tickets. I was gutted when we left the stadium and sat eating food in the Cheswold, we were talking about how well we didn't play, he then popped up with can we go to away games too.Perfect day I thought

So let’s not belittle Morcambe

Not a good start but earlier days and taking account that we had 10 new players compared to our last team i don't think we can complain too much about today's performance. One minor concern is is, if reports are correct and I have no reason to believe it is not correct, our manger/coach moving from dug out to camera gantry view is not a positive sign to players on the pitch. Perhaps a view from the gantry view and looking at the monitor provides more detail of what's happening, but maybe there is an appropriate time after the the game for detailed analysis. Where do players want to see their coach? On the pitch or in in the TV gantry?
You can see more detail from higher up than you can in-line with the pitch, he'll be able to potentially get a different view to Hunt from being there and if that can help us get a result why not? We shouldn't just do the wrong thing because that's the way it's always been.

That detailed analysis he was doing was in order to change the game as it was happening, not much good waiting til after we've lost is it?The players will be aware of Wellens' intentions to view the game this way. They aren't kids who need supervision, and Noel Hunt and the other coaches were there on the touchline.Wellens wants the players to think for themselves (unlike Darren Moore) and that is something he has learned from Sean O'Driscoll.

When wellens was on the touchline he was working incredibly hard on telling players where to be, how to move etc. There's no doubt they are nowhere near ready for the season as yet.
That was shite = that was expected!Reminds me of when SOD came and stamped his ideas on the team….took a while for us to understand it, but then it clicked…..we were a very good team then…Now Richie is in the same situation….a team he has built , with a plan he wants to initiate, the players haven’t had the good fortune to understand the plan fully….but they will, The problem as I see it is we have a cluster of fans who will not forgive the defeats, they will see development and call it headless chicken, They will see stray passes and say we are cluelessThey will see players out of position and say they are shite…The reality as I see it is..we have a lot of older fans who can forgive the defeats, that can see progress , and can understand what the Manager wants to happen going forward, …..it does take time for these things to come to fruition, and the only way to enjoy your Rovers experience is by accepting what you are being served up and being patient…Coming on here and stating the obvious is just spouting for spoutings sake…and it tends to rile the locals…
