Sorry…
« on September 01, 2021, 12:00:27 pm by Herbert Anchovy »
I’ve been a bit arsey with a few people on here today who disagree with my opinions. On reflection my emotions got the better of me and I’ve broken my own rules of:
not posting disrespectfully based on other’s opinions
not posting things that I wouldn’t say to someone face to face

We all want the same thing.

Sorry if I’ve offended/pissed anyone off.

Thanks
Herb

Herb from my side your comments are appreciated and accepted but not necessary to apologise. This is a horrible time right now for us all no matter which side of the invisible fence, if there is one at all, you are on. We are all disappointed and all want a successful football club. Take it easy mate.

We might not all agree on things but we all want what's best for our club. Emotions are running high because we all feel frustrated. I can't imagine how frustrated RW must be feeling.

I think it’s very easy to get like that. Our football club matters to us and that’s what makes it so disappointing when you know things haven’t worked out as they should have. Sometimes, in an emotional game, a level head does go out of the window. And some people are better at rationalising it in the context of our past woes than others, it doesn’t mean either party is wrong. I’ve apologised similarly on another thread.

I would hope the club understands why the fans are disappointed in their numbers without labelling them all as ungrateful. Sadly we know some are ungrateful. But I think many / most are really thankful to the owners for the majority of things, but disappointed that we clearly haven’t addressed the glaring weaknesses on the pitch, and concerned that not everything is working as it ought to be on the recruitment side.

I’ve probably strayed off topic a bit there, sorry again.

Yeah, we forget sometimes we all have the best interests of the club at heart…

We persist!
