Tour de Yorkshire - The End
« on September 12, 2021, 10:02:59 am by River Don »
It look alike the pandemic has killed off the Tour de Yorkshire, just as it was cementing itself in the cycling fixture list.

I can help but feel this is a terrible own goal. This is the one event that truly put Yorkshire on the world stage and showcased the whole county. In fact is there a bigger sporting event outside of London? Perhaps the occasional Open Golf in Scotland? Debatable.

It shouldn't have been called Tour De Yorkshire anyway, that's French. It should have been called Tour O' Yorkshire!
