Pontus has far too much to deal with every week.
Eventually he is bound to make an error based on the rule of averages.
Him being called up for the Sweden first team squad tells me that football people know much more about players abilities than supporters do.

or they haven't got a lot to select from......

What does it say about Donny at the moment if Jones is the best we can produce.......to be honest that goes forall alleged coming through our "system"

I think many are blinkered and may accept 2nd or even 3rd best these days .

The games where we had trialists and picked a few ...........again it was picking the best of a bad lot.

REALLY who of this team would have got in our team from 2 or 3 years ago ?
I can only think of possibly Galbraith ..

Reference a goalkeeper, sadly he would be way down the list  and thats just in the last few years .......and being an international goalkeeper?

Well that doesn't say much about his country bringing them through their system.
Rowe, Taylor and Anderson were in the team 2 or 3 years ago.

With respect Rowe played out of position every match and we all know he didnt tackle anyone but i suppose that isirrelevent?
..oh isuppose you mean the exception when he was played recently, he went off injured

Taylor when he played .......................errrrrrrr. the once.......  oh yes what happened ?.............looked a different person .not daring to get into running and passing .and i cant think of any crosseshe put in ......and now what ?...............ohhhhhh injured eh?

Tom Anderson .........having to do something he has never done .and still cant and thats to boss the back 4  ..hes way too quiet and now is making mistakes as he is trying too hard coz DROSS is around him .... i still think those 3 can be ok .......

but for gods sake they need to be FIT / Play with players of their worth / know their is a possibility of WINNING.

But they actually did get in the team 2 or 3 years ago whereas you suggested the only player on our books now that would get in the team 2 or 3 years ago would be Galbraith even though he would've have been 17/18

and your last comment must mean you are about 8 years old?
maybe that was also 2-3 years ago?
Ps sorry to answer so late ...forgot it will be school tomorrow for you

i assume you are one of those that accept 2nd or 3rd best?

Please don’t forget that our defence was hopeless for good parts of last season. It’s only one example, but the hapless attempt to defend away at Sunderland last season was an all time recent low. Terrible.

That WAS bad. But it pales into insignificance alongside the 15 mins at Portman Road this season.

I think the saddest part of all this is that what developed in the club under Moore was a kind of shoulder shrug, with a team that didn’t really seem to want to put everything on the line. Wellens I thought was just the guy to turn this around, given his own approach as a player. Instead we are arguably a softer touch than under Moore, with oddly even less effort. I’m not sure how this has happened.

Save starting another thread

Pontus called up to the Sweden first team!

Be carrying the water bottles but fair play nevertheless.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Galbraith called up to Northern Ireland senior squad

Called this one correct

If you were his manager would you now want him playing at a higher level.
I'm sure more teams will now have him on their radar?

Wellens has said in the last couple of press conferences that we have got Galbraith for the season.
