Yes I parked on the grass verge. Did not get a ticket.

There is not a no parking sign on there. So why do you ask if we got parking tickets Wolf?
There were always 3 signs on left side of road 300 yards apart and Wardens used to have a bonanza each time we played them BUT if I was passing and they were playing [say] Southend then the verge was still full of cars but no Tickets issued - so I wondered if "they" had the "nod" to use it for most games
Seeing the amount of cars parked up at 11 55 I thought oh oh - they will be fair game later so just wondered if they got splatted - but glad to hear you didnt , and tonight might be last time we play them for 10 or more Seasons
Right ok did not realise people got parking tickets in the past. First time I have parked there as usually go in main car park. Such a pain getting out so thought I would try it. Yes pretty quick getting away although it felt as though I was walking into a Gale wind. Did not seem terribly windy on the pitch.

It looked windy on the pitch to me Camps.
The ball was blowing all over the place when it had height on it.

Yes windy it was, but walking back to the car it was straight into the wind and it was very strong.
The pitch was sheltered a bit from the worst of it.

To be fair, that seven miles of average speed cameras should only take an extra five minutes or so on the M18.

Only the M18 doesn’t go to Scunthorpe

Mmm, just missed a 1 off then.
Good spot.
Would that be the M181 or the M118 neither of which go to Scunthorpe.

Wrong, the m181 is literally next to the football ground.

I ended up parking on the verge, was half expecting a ticket but pleased to see there was nothing.

Parked in the club car park the year Beestin scored at the death, never again.

No your Wrong it's the A181 that goes to the football ground. It changes at the new roundabout.

Ah, so I wasn’t wrong then.
I did say I missed a 1 off, I never mentioned the M118.
Some of our prominent political posters would admire the way you deflected the subject of discussion there.
You should maybe train to be a politician.

Are you sure about that.
I just googled “where is the A181” and it comes up that it is in Durham.

That reminds me of the two lads who got caught drinking battery acid.
The police charged one of them and let the other one off.

If it made just one person smile it was worth it matey.

I just read that a bloke was today shot 200 times with an upholstery gun.
Happy to report that he is now completely recovered.
