All the money in the world and they are seriously considering appointing E Howe as their next manager
He did an alright job at Bournemouth and not a very good job at Burnley

I would have expected them to appoint a more charismatic manager to attract top players

I don’t E Howe having any great attractions to the worlds top players
YOU would not spouting this tripe if he came to The Rovers. He is probably going to be the next England Manager and it’s best prospect on winning a World Cup! .
Can't stand him ever since he moaned about the league one trophy not being at Tranmere on the final day so his players could lift it, totally disrespect for us, but we had the last laugh!
The footage of the Bournemouth fans celebrating and then getting the news we had scored was brilliant

He is a good manager and seems a decent fella. I thought they would go for someone to really get the fans onside. Maybe even Shearer back !.

100s of managers to choose from with a bottomless pit of money to pay them and they choose EH. Hilarious.

Totally agree, he tried to manage Burnley but couldn’t as they are bigger club than Bournemouth

He got homesick in Burnley. Someone better tell him where Newcastle is!

Good luck to him, it’s a job with massive expectations especially with the money. Really should have his milk teeth out though

There is a very real possibility that the iconic st James park will move also. Mike Ashley sold off a load of land at the gallowgate end which is being developed into flats. This means that the required space to develop that end simply is not there.

They can always build it higher (than an M Woods Penalty)

The money will probably help him get over it.

Not a manager for a relegation battle. Must see him as a long term appointment. Not really got the pazazz to draw the better players in.

in the last 3 weeks i read somewhere Howe was waiting for the Southampton job ... nice man methinx and it's not too far as the crow sorry vulture flies.

obviously he thought he was too big now for Bournemouth & Boscombe

since then Soton have bucked up despite CLH thinking they are long term relegation contenders..

Now when the German took the job at Southampton a lot of people were  surprised he didn't wait for a "better" Premiership job say like Everton etc

to me he is the obvious choice -- he already has "fighting relegation experience"  and apparently he had done well (success)  in Germany ? before taking the job.

You mean Hasenhuttl? He's one of my own. He's Austrian not German.

Howe watching on from the stands at Brighton right now. He's got a huge job on. Don't expect anything for the Geordies at Brighton. Long old schlep too.

Thanks for the correction (again ?) you inspired me to check out his pedigree

FC Ingolstadt 04

In October 2013, Hasenhüttl was appointed as coach of Ingolstadt 04,[15] replacing Marco Kurz. In his first season, he took them from bottom of the 2. Bundesliga to tenth place. In the 2014–15 season, Hasenhüttl took Ingolstadt to the Bundesliga for the first time, finishing the season as 2. Bundesliga champions. In the 2015–16 season, he was successful in securing Ingolstadt's Bundesliga survival, finishing in 11th place, but chose not to extend his contract.[16]
RB Leipzig

In May 2016, he was confirmed as the new manager of newly-promoted RB Leipzig. He took over on 1 July 2016.[17] His first match was against Dynamo Dresden in the German Cup.[18] Leipzig lost 5–4 in a shootout.[19] In his and the club's debut season in the Bundesliga Hassenhüttl guided Leipzig to a 2nd-place finish. The following season the club finished 6th with Hasenhüttl asking for his contract to be terminated as he was not comfortable acting as an interim for incoming boss Julian Nagelsmann.[20] In May 2018, Hasenhüttl left RB Leipzig.[21]

which seems impressive to me Leipzig seem to be very good at producing ? and selling players for "loads of money"

Good info there.

I think it was you who put me right with the nationality of skier Franz Klammer who i said was Swiss but he turned out to be Austrian.

That makes us even now CLH.  ;)

I would rather a few other teams be bottom instead of the Toon army.
