The dreaded vote of confidence?
Didn’t Norwich renew Farkes deal just before he was sacked.

The right fit ambitious manager, at an ambitious club. They get the crowds and look for the next up and coming in player to develop.

They have definitely played the transfer game well over the years. Plans in for a new ground they seem to have learnt from knee jerk managerial changes. Just hope their obnoxious manager doesn’t lose interest and they end up like Rushden

"Get the crowds"? I could be wrong here, Sammy, but I'm pretty sure Posh are poorly supported for a Championship club.

In fact, I don't think their crowds in League 1 were that good.

They get less fans than we do and that takes some doing

You're right there Steve. Just goes to show how important a coherent transfer policy can be. That's why they are in the league above.

They’re in the league above temporarily, just like we’ve been in the league above them temporarily, they’ll come down because they’re not a big enough club to sustain championship football just like we aren’t.
Someone told me Butler has been promoted there is this true? Not seen anything on the net.

They might well come straight back down, but with the all the points deductions they have a good chance of staying up.
Even if they do come down they'll be stronger in league One, just like Wycombe this year.
They are "growing" the club, which is what we are supposed to be doing.
They do it via promotion and transfer fees, we do it via maximizing car boot revenue and.....

Butts is now Set Piece Coach under Fergie. There was something on here. Boston were not happy that he was under contract and walked out. Not sure how that ended up.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to have a dig at our club.

I love how people are sure they know how much we spend, how much other clubs spend, how sustainable the spend of other clubs is for them, how close to going under any club is.

He’s a good talent spotter. An average manager. Terrible for us.
