I’m with you Alan. I would expect he’s not scratching his ass for a penny and he did say at the start he liked the idea of the stability of the U18s as managers get the sack. I think if I was him I’d stick.  Good luck to him whichever way it goes
The one thing I think he he has done is prove the difference changing the manager can make.  It’s not been miraculous but the team do seem to be improving with a different management style
Really ? 1 win in 4 in a game we was lucky to win all home fixtures as well

I'm guessing you haven't watched us, if you're only judging on results not improvement in performances.

Anton I take it you go to matches which unfortunately I am unable to

My assessment is based on what I read on here and from the Free Press

Are you saying I’ve got the wrong idea and we haven’t improved at all under GMc and are as bad as the teams Welles’s put out

If I’m being honest, there hasn’t been a great deal of difference, even wellens got the odd tune out of us. But the reality is we’ve been schooled twice in his short spell, one of those by a league 2 side.

It’s very difficult to judge given the players he’s got available and I genuinely don’t know how much better he would do if players were available. Has to be said that the set up/shape against Sunderland was diabolical though.
Wellens had Anderson, Bostock, Galbraith and Close available for most of his matches.
GM has not even had that luxury. He had only 2 of them for 2 of his games.

We will not win many games with Blythe, Hasani and Ravenhill in the team all at the same time.
No disrespect to them but they are not ready for this League. We could get away with just one of them possibly but not a prayer with three.

Yes mate watched every game this season and I don’t understand the hype around GM from some of the fans we have looked worse then when richy was here especially as all GM games have been at home the win against Shrewsbury was a fluke . Don’t get me wrong he has not had the best players at his disposal but the man him self says he already has a competitive squad with 1 or 2 additions ! I wish him good luck and with always support the team but this for me is the board acceptance of relegation and putting a man in charge who is happy to work and blood youngsters in LG 2 for a few years as you can’t do that in lg1 as this season is proving

We were very good against Mansfield 1st half. 2nd half with so many kids in midfield we ran out of steam.
Sorry Guardiola would not have been able to do anything different with what we had on the park.
Shrewsbury I missed but we won. Apparently every win this season has been a fluke. So maybe the same applies to all the defeats. I tell you what is a matter with people.
Sunderland boys v Men  seriously with 6 of our best 7 players missing did you expect us to get a better result than 0-3
If you did then your even more of a fool than I am. No one more optimistic than me. Not many anyway.

So give GM a few new players and a couple of the injured lads back and let’s see what transpires.
